For a small town motel its was amazing!! Our room was very good, clean and comfy. The beds are hard, which i loved. The hotel had breakfast and a bar and a patio to sit on and hang out. Everything was just comfortable and worked well. The rooms were clean the water pressure was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.
Some of the friendliest people in the state, and possibly the whole country. Breakfast is provided and it is sometimes hit or miss. Despite not many options in the area, this place is very nice. Clean comfortable rooms and the friendly staff are always willing to help with anything. The coffee is excellent as well.
The Cardinal Inn was very nice. Much nicer than we expected. Rooms were large and spacious. We wished it would have had a pool, and the shower heads could have been a little better. Our dog was able to stay there for an extra $25 which was great for us. Our family enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here while traveling through Nebraska and was pleasantly surprised! For a small town like Albion, this place is a total hidden gem. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and very inviting; you can tell the management takes great pride in the property. The service was top-notch the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It has a very peaceful, welcoming atmosphere, and the location right off the highway is super convenient for travelers. Definitely a great value for the money. We’ll be sure to stay here again whenever we're back in the area!
We stayed here multiple times due to it being halfway from home (TX) to work (ND). Pet friendly was another big draw. Staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms and facility were always clean, beds comfortable and breakfast appreciated.
Quite a diamond in the rough here! Comfy beds, great water pressure, good breakfast, nice seating area indoor, and an awesome outdoor patio area! We had excellent interaction with all the staff we came across, and even received some local suggestions. There was coffee in the lobby every time I stopped through. Thanks Cardinal Inn. If we return to the area you will be our only option for lodging.
I would not rate this as a 2 star hotel. It’s very clean the bedding and beds are wonderful comfortable and of a premium quality. I’ve stayed in NYC hiltons with less comfort.
